Tradition and Wool: The Journey Through Argentina’s Highland Pastures

At Villama, we take pride in offering premium sheep wool sourced from the expansive fields of Patagonia, Argentina. This exceptional wool is celebrated for its remarkable softness and durability, making it ideal for a wide range of knitting and crafting projects. The sheep graze freely in the unspoiled landscapes of Patagonia, where the clean air and natural grazing conditions enhance the wool's outstanding quality. Embrace the warmth and comfort of our Argentine sheep wool and treat yourself to a unique crafting experience.

Estancia María is managed by Estancia María Sociedad Civil and includes a section called San Miguel, which is a three-day journey by herding. Every March, they travel from María to San Miguel, returning to María in the first days of September. Although both are highland areas, San Miguel is a bit safer for the winter.
